Refund Policy

1. Overview

AI Researcher is an AI-powered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. Due to the nature of digital services and the real-time consumption of AI resources (API calls to third-party AI providers), we generally do not offer refunds once a purchase has been made.

2. Subscription Plans

Our subscription plans (Starter, Pro, and Elite) provide immediate access to features and monthly credits. By subscribing, you acknowledge that:

• Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your plan benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• No partial refunds are provided for unused days within a billing cycle.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

3. Credit Top-ups

One-time credit top-up purchases are non-refundable once the credits have been added to your account. Credits represent pre-paid access to AI processing resources that are consumed in real-time, and as such cannot be reversed after purchase.

4. Exceptions

We may consider a refund or credit adjustment at our sole discretion in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical error.
• Service outage: If a prolonged, unscheduled service outage prevented you from using the platform for a significant portion of your billing cycle.
• Unauthorized transactions: If your account was compromised and unauthorized purchases were made, subject to verification.

Any exception-based refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the exceptions above, please contact us with the following details:

• Your registered email address
• Transaction date and amount
• Reason for the refund request
• Any supporting evidence (e.g., duplicate charge receipts)

We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days.

6. Payment Processor

All payments are processed through DodoPayments. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and may take 5–10 business days.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
• Any unused monthly credits will expire at the end of the current billing period.
• Top-up credits (if any) remain in your account and can be used on the Free plan.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of AI Researcher after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
